Last post I spoke about Leather/Vegan Leather looks that will be one of the hot items for the coming fall season. Another style or rather pattern that has no plans on taking a backseat in the coming season either will be Plaid. It will be utilized in a number of ways this go around, it’s no longer just a pant or plaid shirt, you will now find ruffled shirts, tiered skirts or even a plaid poncho (like the Ralph Lauren one that I will surely own).

There is something I do in my blogs that some may have already noticed. Almost all of my post will have something that leads into the next one. I previously discussed cutouts as being something you should keep an eye out for along with cropped tops. If you noticed in the Give Me Body post one of the bodysuits had cutouts, nice eh. Well today there is yet another trend that will be surfacing in the fall/winter seasons and I’m hella excited, why? Because leather has been done but no quite like this and I for one just dig it.

The cropped top will be seen everywhere in the coming months. In a number of styles. Personally I have always loved this look with high necklines and I really do love to see it paired with high waist lined pencil skirts or pants. Of course it is an easy compliment with overalls, a look that too will be making waves in fashion feel free to pair it with either the classic denim style or revamped version as pictured here.

I have to say I liked many of the pieces River Island had to offer. I can see where just about anyone can find something to add to their wardrobe at affordable prices. I’ve always had a thing for fashion. Its many styles and the way it caters to every one’s own personality. Maybe your style is classic, perhaps edgy, modern or experimental (the ones that dress according to their mood *raised hand*) whatever it may be it could be the reason you have an array of clothing from a specific brand or designer. We all have our favorites, no? You may find the same name brand/designer in my closet a few times too. But a long time ago I tested myself and rather than shop based on favorites I shopped based on what appealed to me. What I learned, I found items that I loved in a number of collections that I never thought I would ever buy from, I also learned that my taste can be a bit pricey. However in my research I found similar items for a lot less and learned to wait for sales. Waiting can be risky because you’ll go back for something and it will be gone *insert sad face* but its not as bad as paying regular price and going back for something else and seeing the very item you purchased for half off *insert angry face and…*.
My intentions for the next coming months will be to post looks from various brands/designers, picking out a few favorites and hopefully one or two will appeal to your style. The goal here is simple…help add to your wardrobe with names in fashion you may not have known about or maybe even considered purchasing from.
I used to be a do’s and don’t type of girl but now I’m more of a don’t give a (fill in the blank) if it looks good on the person go on or just dare to be different even better dare to be you ; )

Hello me lovelies. Hope everyone is well and fine. I’ve been enjoying this New York City spring weather as it’s simply wonderful. The spring fashions are blossoming all over the city woo hoo. It certainly is a glamorous sight. Slowly but surely a lot of the mentioned fashions in previous post are streaming out unto the streets as well. I remember when I was a kid I couldn’t wait to get older to wear heels. The higher the better I would say. This was based on rebellion and the fact that I was a shorty. I’ve loved wedges since the first episode I’d ever watched of Three’s Company when Chrissy would prance around in them in her hot shorts. They are fabulous. I love the look, the wear, the feel. If it were up to me they would never go away, ever. They’ve been around for the last few spring seasons and summer so fingers crossed. We should just call this season shoe trend ode to Chrissy because that is who comes to mind every time I see the latest shoe fashions lol. Chunky Heels in all heights and for those of us that love wearing high heels expect them to be higher than ever. This style will be seen as Platform Sandals, Low Heeled Sandals, Clogs, Chunky Wood Shoes, In Stacked heels. I love the look of Chunky Sandals worn with little ankle socks, I don’t know why I just do. I’m completely thrilled to see these available also in a variety of colors. Now be cautioned ladies when wearing the super high heels, I once wore a pair on a cobbled stone street it was like playing hopscotch. They are very comfortable but if in that setting watch out.

Hello lovelies. Hope you all are well and living life to the fullest. In this post special attention is going to go not to a particular look but a color. This color will be a rave for a stint. It’s always had its special place all over the world. I’m talking about a color that means balance, life, growth, harmony. The color of nature and of course this color I speak of is Green. I gave it away in the title post didn’t I, oh well. I can’t tell how much I love the richness and flare of serenity this shade gives off.
