I have seen prints in an array of shapes and styles. My preferred choices are tribal prints in knit or sheer. Stripe prints are also a favorite. Here are some of the looks.

Blazer’s will be the new spring jacket. Look for Blazers to be worn over tanks, tee’s or nothing at all. Of course they will be paired with pants, jeans and skirts. I personally love to see the blazer paired with shorts as it allows the focus to go directly to the legs since the rest of your body is completely covered. Wear this look with a great pair of shoes and walk with pride in your stride.

Yessir and when I say block, I mean as in color blocking. One of my favorite looks. I’ve always adored the blocking fashions in the sixties and now it’s finally catching fire once again. Now while in the Sixties it was more of a print today it’s not just found in print styles, we are making it happen as an ensemble. Pair bright jackets, with not so bright tees to offset and a sleek pair of new colored denim (see previous post color me badd) or perhaps just go with a nice solid color tunic,opaque tights and some funky shoes. How ever you choose selections are endless. I recall this peaking in mid 2008 but it’s finally gained some heat as of late. It is a fairly daring trend but hey I have faith in you all. However if you are feeling hesitant at least give the color block shoes a try, you will find plenty a heels dipped in colour.

Hope everyone is feeling great. It’s Saturday afternoon and I know some of us have plans for the night, others will just fall into something. However the night pans out be sure to be safe. With that said I know there will be people out there darting out to shops looking for the outfit of the night. While out there you may come across what I believe to be the hottest things on the racks this season – jeans in a variety of colors. Not your typical blue hues, stone wash, not at all. I’m talking fire engine red, steeler yellow, teal, chocolate brown. This is sure to really take off in the spring but if you want to be ahead of the pack I say pick up a pair add some pumps, booties whatever and give your night a flair. The trend is available for men as well and offered by a variety of brands 7 for ALL Mankind, Gabriella Rocha, Sanctuary Clothing, Levi’s to name a few. Of course if you can’t find them in the stores hit the online malls.
